Children's Party at Fort Vertier in Harderwijk

Yay, it’s party time! Time to celebrate the birthday kid in style with friends. At Fort Vertier, kids get to step right into the game themselves. They run, climb, explore, and scan in and around the Roman fort.

You’ll get your own party table, the birthday child will receive a gift, and every child will get a soda, a cool temporary tattoo, and a certificate. And we wrap up every party with a round of laser tag. You pick the date, and we’ll make the adventure happen.

A fortress full of games, puzzles, and action

Ready for the mission? At Fort Vertier, kids step into an outdoor game. They dive into the large Roman-style 3D maze and play various games in and around the fort. They search for the right towers, solve Roman riddles, and scan their wristbands to collect points.

Meanwhile, they run, climb, and scramble through the fort. The screens show them their progress right away. Could they go faster? If so, they simply try again. In between, they exit the fort via the slide, the Big Airbag, or another route—only to take on a new challenge through a different entrance. This keeps the whole group actively engaged.

You can wrap up the day with an exciting game of laser tag where parents are welcome to join in. Fort Vertier is suitable for children ages 5 to 13. For children’s parties, we recommend children ages 7 and up, as they are usually able to play on their own. Younger children can often join in as well, but may need a little extra help from a parent or guardian.
